Established in 2016, Falling Run is a vibrant and accessible greenspace in the heart of Morgantown. With 60 acres of forest, meadows, streams and 2.6 miles of trails, this urban wilderness connects us through recreation, stewardship, research and service-learning.
Falling Run is managed by the WVU School of Design & Community Development at the Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design.
Participants help with trail construction and maintenance, as well as invasive plant management, native planting and stream cleanup. Visitors are welcome everyday from dawn to dusk. Join us to develop Falling Run as a valued community resource.
