Mon Valley Habitat for Humanity was established in 1990 and is a part of a global, nonprofit housing organization operated on Christian principles that seeks to put Gods love into action by building homes, communities, and hope.

Mon Valley Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide through constructing homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resourced to help families improve their shelter conditions. since 1990 Mon Valley Habitat for Humanity has completed 60 homes and has provided housing for 239 individuals.
