Who We Are

We are housed at City Hall and the Public Safety Building on Spruce Street in downtown Morgantown. City departments include Community Development, City Clerk, City Manager, Urban Landscapes, Public Works, Engineering, Code Enforcement, Parking Authority, Police, and Fire. There are also many boards and commissions that work with the City, as well as neighborhood associations in each ward within City limits.

What We Do

The City focuses its efforts on making the community a better place for residents through ongoing development, law enforcement, beautification, recreation, and much more. Boards and commissions focus on topics including, but not limited to, human rights, active forms of transportation, new building infrastructure, ward and boundary issues, and community development.
