Who We Are
The Arts Council of Greater Morgantown is dedicated to empowering artists, fostering creativity and improving economic vitality, through inclusive art partnerships for a vibrant creative community.
What We Do
We promote the arts in the Greater Morgantown area through our Creative Network by:
- Advocating for creative individuals and endeavors
- Helping to create economic opportunities for artists of all mediums
- Facilitating collaboration between creative groups and or programs
- Serving as the definitive source of information about creative events and opportunities
- Raising awareness of existing creative initiatives through a targeted communications strategy
- Acting as a creative event clearinghouse, and promotes best practices for creative events
- Collaborating to identify needs and coordinating the delivery of resources to creatives
- Maintaining a directory of artists, arts organizations, and creative partners – our Creative Network
- Facilitating grants to artists and arts organizations
- Promoting and facilitating the placement of art in public spaces
