WV STEPS

WV STEPS is a healthcare simulation lab that is utilized by learners from WVU HSC and practicing healthcare providers. We offer hands-on practice through simulated encounters with manikins and standardized patients (who act as the patient in various communication exercises). 

We provide the opportunity for healthcare practitioners and learners to develop and perfect skills that they will need in the real world. We utilize members of the community to act as patients and ultrasound models to give students time to improve skills that are needed in clinical settings.
