Who We Are
With over six years experience serving our country, CJ Ghuste, founder of Operation Activet, was on a mission to help our nations’ heroes. Operation Activet is geared towards assisting veterans returning to civilian life, with a focus on veterans living with PTSD. Operation Activet will provide activities and events to involve veterans and families to find hobbies, set goals, and maintain a healthy, happy lifestyle after military life. Operation Activet is set out to create a community of understanding for those who have given their time to fight for our freedom and support their families. After CJ's untimely death in October 2019, his family continued the organization in CJ's memory to continue the work he started. In 2023, Operation Activet expanded to include First Responders.
What We Do
Operation Activet is an all-volunteer, 501C.3, nonprofit organization founded in Morgantown, WV. All funds raised go to hosting Veteran and First Responder activities. Veterans and First Responders never pay to attend those activities. Picnics, camping, bowling, axe throwing, day trips, sporting events, recreational teams, and snow tubing are a few examples of our activities.
